PNLHA award winners for 2014

UNIFOR - Unifor to hold national 'Good Jobs Summit'Heritage centre and Canada’s newest national union honored

The PNLHA presented its two annual awards at the Cumberland conference on June 14.

The Labor History Person of the Year award for 2014 goes to the Labour Heritage Centre, a British Columbia organization that was formed in 2003 and has since more than accomplished the award goal of promoting the study and understanding of labour history.

The Labor History in the Making award for 2014 goes to Unifor, the union the grew out of the 2013 merger of the Canadian Auto Workers and the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union.
